Search results and category and location pages show listings managed by the company first, then all other companies alphabetically. You can switch to name or company size with the sort control.

A listing is managed by the company when someone from the company added it themselves or claimed it, either by signing in with an email address on the company's own domain or after a manual review by our team. Both are free and open to every company, and paying does not change where a company appears in this order.

Companies with a premium subscription can appear in a separate Sponsored section at the top of pages whose filters they match. It is paid placement, always labelled, and those companies still appear in their usual place in the full list. Visits from the Sponsored section are not counted towards “Most viewed” or the monthly rankings.

Premium companies can also see how their listing compares with the markets they are listed in, such as how their profile views compare with the typical company. These comparisons are anonymised across at least ten companies, and no company's own figures are shared with any other company.

On the directory home page, when there are no sponsored listings, “Selected managed listings” shows a random selection of those listings that changes each day. “Most viewed” ranks companies by how often their profile was opened in the last 30 days.

Being managed by the company is not an endorsement, and it is not a check of a company's competence, certification or accreditation. Check third-party certification and the company's own credentials before appointing them.
