The Ontario fire protection engineering practice of AtkinsRéalis (formerly SNC-Lavalin), a global engineering and project-management firm. Led by a national Director of Fire Protection and centred on Ottawa, its fire team delivers fire-protection systems design, building-code reports, performance-based design and fire-hazard/risk analysis, concentrated in nuclear (CANDU), defence, transit and heavy-industrial sectors.
