Founded in 1970 and working from plants at Villa del Conte and Tombolo in the province of Padua, Ballan runs a fire-door range — Unirev, Progress, Protek, Vetrac, Vetral and Proflus — alongside its garage and industrial door business. The fire range is supplied with a certificato di omologazione issued by the Ministero dell’Interno to UNI 9723, so both the approving authority and the test standard are named, and the products carry CE marking with a declaration of performance. Glazed variants use fire-resistant laminated glass rated EI 60 or EI 120, the EI 120 assemblies running to a 95 mm leaf with 52 mm glazing.
