Bemac has worked in fire detection at Alleur near Liège since 1973 and is one of only two Belgian firms holding the BOSEC voice-alarm installer certificate, B-9063-VAS, alongside its detection certificate B-9063-FD; it also holds FISQ certification on both disciplines and on firestopping. It describes itself as designer, manufacturer and installer rather than any one of the three, runs around a hundred and ten staff and delivers over four hundred projects a year, working to NBN S 21-100-1:2025 and NBN S 21-112 across analogue-addressable and conventional detection, automatic extinguishing, gas detection and the rest of the extinguishing range.
