BIOEX formulates and manufactures firefighting foam concentrates at Sainte-Consorce near Lyon, and launched the world’s first class A and B fluorine-free foam in 2002. Its foam performance is certified and approved against the recognised third-party schemes — EN 1568, the European foam concentrate standard, together with UL 162, ICAO, IMO, LASTFIRE, GESIP and the French insurers’ APSAD rule R12 for foam extinguishing installations. The ECOPOL line additionally holds GreenScreen certification as a PFAS-free foam.
