Brandskyddsbesiktning trades through two SBSC-certified besiktningsfirmor — T Godby AB at Värmdö, certificate 6-348 under SBF 1003:4, and BSB AB at Motala, certificate 9-438 under SBF 1003:5 — and inspects across all four active disciplines: water sprinkler, fire alarm, gaseous extinguishing and water mist. Alongside inspection it consults on those installations, preparing tender documentation, advising on system choice and procurement and proposing remedial work, and trains anläggningsskötare, the operators a Swedish installation must have, on each of the four system types.
