One of Sweden’s largest independent fire-safety consultancies (est. 1989), with offices from Gävle in the north to Malmö in the south. It delivers fire-safety strategy and building fire-protection design, analytisk dimensionering, evacuation analysis, sprinkler design and risk management. Its analyses are an aid to the design team’s professional judgement, not a substitute for it.Its fire-cause investigation line is led from the Karlstad office by Claes Malmqvist, a fire engineer who sits on the board of Nordic-AFI, the International Association of Arson Investigators’ sub-chapter for the Nordic countries, and the practice reconstructs fire spread by CFD for insurers, loss adjusters, law firms and the Swedish accident investigation authority.
