Founded as an Australian family firm in 1973 and acquired by Ei Electronics in 2022, Brooks holds the widest span of detection certification on the register outside the global panel makers — residential alarms through to commercial detectors and panels. CSIRO’s ActivFire register lists it as the Australian agent on 93 current certificates, covering smoke alarms, control and indicating equipment devices and modules and heat alarms.
