Its work includes fire safety risk assessment, CFD-based fire and evacuation simulation, structural fire analysis (time-equivalence method), external and façade fire-spread assessment, and the development of fire safety strategies. As part of a large TIC company the dedicated fire team is a focused sub-unit; outputs aid professional judgement.
