Formed in the summer of 2001 to provide fire protection engineering design and consulting on new-build, renovation and existing buildings, and describing itself as Kansas City’s leader in the discipline. Its stated approach is creative, cost-effective and code-based design — the ordinary working compromise a fire protection engineer makes between what a code prescribes and what a building can physically accommodate.
