DEF Belgium holds BOSEC certificate B-9047-FD for fire detection and B-9313-EX-G for gas extinguishing, together with FISQ certification on both detection and voice alarm — an unusually wide certified scope. Detection is its primary line rather than a sideline of the extinguishing work. It operates from Groot-Bijgaarden as the Belgian member of Réseau DEF, the French detection group, whose other Belgian member is V.L.V. at Alleur.
