A fire investigation practice working the western states from Berkeley since 1977, with five California facilities holding secured evidence storage, engineering laboratories and vehicle examination bays so that stored evidence can be re-examined by all parties. Its investigators sit on the standards that govern the work: president Dennis Field (CFI) is a principal member of the NFPA 1033 technical committee and Hal Lyson was a founding member of the NFPA 921 committee, alongside NAFI-credentialled staff such as Andy Berasley (NAFI-CFEI, CVFI, IAAI-FIT(V)) and licensed forensic engineers.
