A Michigan practice working since 1996 in fire and explosion investigation, and unusual in the US market for pairing investigation with its own laboratory testing and training programmes. Testing is what separates a hypothesis from an opinion that survives cross-examination under NFPA 921’s scientific method: an appliance or component alleged to have started a fire can be examined and exemplar-tested rather than merely inspected.
