Guidi & Partners is a fire engineering practice founded in 1998 by Ing. Gianluigi Guidi, who is named on the firm’s own profile page as consulente tecnico del Tribunale di Bologna. Guidi holds degrees in industrial chemistry from the Università di Bologna and in safety engineering from Sapienza in Rome, is vice-president of SFPE Italia and lectures on the Master in Fire Safety Engineering at the Free University of Bolzano. The practice runs a dedicated fire-investigation arm from the same address, carrying out origin-and-cause investigation of fires and explosions to NFPA 921 for companies, insurers and law firms, from first site inspection and evidence recovery through to the final report. Its litigation work covers technical reports, replies to the court expert’s questions, assistance to counsel and testimony in civil and criminal proceedings.
