Family-owned since 1935 and producing from more than forty plants, Hörmann manufactures T30 and T90 steel fire doorsets, smoke-control doors and fire-rated glazing. It publishes its own DIBt allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung Z-6.20-2203 for the H3 OD steel fire door and the allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung Z-19.14-1984 for the HE 331 S fire-rated glazing system built at its Eckelhausen plant. Products are additionally placed on the market under harmonised EN 16034 and EN 14351-1 CE marking.
