Hekatron develops and supplies hold-open systems for fire and smoke doorsets — control units, smoke switches and hold magnets — together with the acceptance training and maintenance guidance that DIN 14677 requires. The company states that every system is VdS-tested and approved by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik under its own allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung; the aBG Z-6.500-2427 for the FSZ Basis control unit is published on its own site, and centrals are certified to DIN EN 14637.
