On the fire side it issues accredited classification reports to ÖNORM EN 13501-1 and 13501-2 — the reaction-to-fire and fire-resistance classifications a timber product or assembly is specified on. Worth knowing how it works: the fire tests behind those classifications are run for it by accredited fire institutes in Austria and abroad, a long-standing arrangement it states openly. What it sells is the classification, not the furnace.
