One of Italy’s principal fire laboratories, testing and certifying across both halves of the discipline — resistenza al fuoco and reazione al fuoco — from accredited premises at Bellaria-Igea Marina. Its fire resistance laboratory has been running since the 1980s and passed forty years in service, and the institute is accredited by ACCREDIA (laboratory 0021) and notified at European level both under the Construction Products Regulation 305/2011 for construction products and under the Marine Equipment Directive. It works as a certification body as well as a laboratory, so a product can be tested and its CE marking issued without changing organisations.
