Koolair, founded in 1968 at Móstoles in Madrid, manufactures air distribution equipment and, through its subsidiary Safeair created in 2001 with a plant at Seseña, fire and smoke-control dampers. Its FDS-3G rectangular and FDR-3G circular fire dampers are designed and certified to EN 15650 and tested to EN 1366-2, with CPR declarations of conformity and of performance published for each damper model. On the smoke side its CEVH double-blade automatic smoke control damper carries a CE declaration of performance to EN 12101-8:2011 under certificate of conformity 0370-CPR-1687, naming the accredited body as LGAI Technological Center, and is classified EI 120 (Ved i↔o) S 1500 AA multi to EN 13501-4 under System 1; the single-blade SCDC model carries certificate 0370-CPR-2600, tested to EN 1366-10. The group also runs its own air-diffusion and acoustics test laboratory.
