A long-established structural and engineering-consulting firm (株式会社構造計画研究所, KKE) whose disaster-engineering practice delivers multi-agent evacuation simulation and fire/smoke-movement simulation for high-rise and large buildings, quantitatively evaluating evacuation measures under fire and other hazards. It has co-developed high-rise fire-evacuation simulation systems with major developers. Its simulations support the design team’s professional judgement rather than replace it.
