About

Founded in 1983 and directed by Frédéric Lavoué, an independent laboratory identifying the scientific cause of fire and industrial losses for civil and criminal judicial expertise, arbitration and amicable procedures, claiming over 30,000 interventions on buildings, vehicles, boats and forests. Two of its staff investigators are court-listed CNEJIE members: Sébastien Baudement, expert judiciaire près la Cour d’appel de Dijon depuis 2013 in rubriques C.17.2 Bâtiments–Incendie and C.17.3 Bâtiments–Explosion, and Sébastien Duplaa, expert judiciaire près la Cour d’appel de Pau depuis 2023 in C.17.2 and G.15 Criminalistique–Incendie. Field kit runs to accelerant detectors, endoscopes and sealed sampling, backed by in-house analytical chemistry.
