Nordiska Brand Farestveit is certified by SBSC on both sides of the Swedish sprinkler regime at once — certificate 18-396 as sprinklerkonsultfirma under SBF 2016:2 for design, and certificate 8-20 as besiktningsfirma brandskyddsanläggningar under SBF 1003:5 for third-party inspection — a combination the firm itself calls unusual, and one that has to be kept apart project by project because a designer cannot inspect its own installation. Founded in 2004, it has grown to around thirty staff, most of them certified behöriga ingenjörer. Design references include Kv. Forskaren in Stockholm’s Hagastaden, Malmö Docks, the twenty-storey timber Sara Kulturhus in Skellefteå and a 68,000 m² Panattoni logistics centre at Enköping; inspection references include Södersjukhuset.
