Ambest Electronics (宁波安贝斯电子), trading as Numens, manufactures addressable and conventional fire detection and alarm devices plus residential smoke alarms from a 10,000 m² site in Yingzhou District, Ningbo. Its sounders are LPCB-approved to EN 54-3 under certificate 1529b and its self-contained smoke alarms to EN 14604 under certificate 1529a, and it is the principal holder of the 1529 licence family on which other manufacturers appear as co-licensees. Formed in 2010, it supplies both own-brand and OEM programmes worldwide.
