Onyx-Fire Protection Services is a national Canadian fire protection contractor formed in 1988 and grown by acquisition into a fifteen-branch network of some 1,200 staff. It designs, installs, inspects and repairs sprinkler systems and special-hazard suppression alongside fire alarm and life-safety work, for around 30,000 client locations. Its fire alarm practice covers ULC-S537 verification and ULC-S536 annual inspection and testing, carried out by CFAA-certified technicians, and the firm states CASA, ULC and CFAA membership on its own about page.
