The former PDC Engineers, an Alaska-founded, employee-owned full-service engineering firm acquired by RESPEC in 2020 and now operating under the RESPEC brand from five Alaska offices. Its named Fire Protection Engineering discipline, within the Facilities practice, covers water-based and special-hazard/clean-agent suppression, fire pumps and storage, fire detection and alarm, life safety, smoke control, and mass notification with audibility analysis, tailored to project codes and Arctic/remote conditions to support owners’ and AHJs’ life-safety decisions.
