Prefire is a smoke-control and fire-protection specialist at El Masnou near Barcelona, founded in 1997, covering the engineering, installation and maintenance of smoke and heat control systems, textile fire curtains and active protection. It designs applying UNE 23585 and the requirements of DT55, cites UNE 23584 for site installation, commissioning and periodic maintenance, and publishes its Calificación CEPREVEN as an accredited installer for Control de Humos in the Flotabilidad and Barrido scopes. The type-B roof vents it supplies are CE marked and tested to UNE-EN 12101-2 with the full class set published — Cvw 0.65 to 0.75 m², reliability Re 50/1000, SL 500 to 2400, T(-25), WL 1500, heat resistance B30030 and reaction to fire B-s2-d0. Those vents are a manufacturer’s product that Prefire integrates; the CEPREVEN accreditation and the UNE 23584 and 23585 design and installation work are its own. The firm sits on AENOR technical committees AEN/CTN 23/SC5, SC7 and FSE and holds RD 513/2017 installer authorisation.
