Premix has produced protective and repair mortars in Poland since 1998 and moved to a purpose-built plant at Połaniec in 2015. Its FIRE-MIX cement-and-vermiculite fireproofing plaster holds European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0451, issued by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik in September 2017, declaring reaction to fire class A1 to EN 13501-1 and giving design tables for protected steel members. In Poland the same system is covered by ITB-KOT-2020/1659, second edition, for kits protecting steel and reinforced concrete structures and valid to 2030, and by a further assessment for bridge and infrastructure use.
