Rf-Technologies has made fire and smoke control dampers at Oosterzele in East Flanders since 1985 and is the only Belgian company in BCCA’s fire-and-smoke-damper certificate family. Its Kamouflage smoke control damper is CE-marked under EN 12101-8:2011 with a Declaration of Performance naming Efectis, notified body 1812, certificate Efectis-1812-CPR-1043, declaring class EI 120 (ve d i↔o) S 1500 AA multi to EN 1366-10 and EN 13501-4; the Avantage and VRE ranges carry the same standard under certificates Efectis_1812_CPR_1042 and Efectis_1812_CPR_1820. On the fire-damper side its CU2 range is declared to EN 15650:2010 under BCCA, notified body 0749, certificate 0749-CPR-BC1-606-0464-15650.03-0464&2517. It has tested to European criteria since 2004 and was the first supplier of a full CE-marked damper range in February 2012. Around a hundred and seventy people work across Oosterzele and a second production site in Slovakia, selling into some thirty countries.
