Products are engineered to EN 12101-1 for smoke and fire curtains and to EN 12101-2 and DIN 18232 for natural smoke and heat exhaust, and are supplied as complete NRWG assemblies. The firm describes itself as a pioneer of electrically operated smoke extraction and has traded since 1967. Its Swiss subsidiary at Fehraltorf holds five recognitions in Untergruppe 249 Feuerschutzvorhänge of the VKF Brandschutzregister — VKF 31653, 31657, 31793, 31794 and 32315 — which is the whole of Switzerland’s certified fire-curtain capacity bar two further approvals.
