Sperosens has supplied fire protection and telemetry solutions to the African mining and industrial sectors since 1988, developing special-risk fire detection and suppression for underground environments, conveyor belt monitoring and distributed fire infrastructure management. It employs around three hundred people across a Centurion head office and seven mining-region branches, and designs, manufactures and maintains its own detection and gas-detection instrumentation. Its site names ASIB, SAQCC, ECSA, FDIA, FPASA, SABS and CIDB affiliations with ISO 9001:2015 certification.
