Statamat has supplied, installed and maintained fire equipment from Evergem near Ghent since 1982, and is unusual in the Belgian market for naming the standard behind each line rather than claiming a general competence: NBN S 21-100 for fire detection, NBN S 21-050 for extinguishers, NBN EN 671-3 for hose reels, ISO 79 for emergency lighting and ISO 7010 for signage, with Apragaz and BENOR certification behind the equipment side. It also supplies smoke and heat extraction control panels and drives to NBN S 21-208. It is a distributor and installer rather than a manufacturer.
