Svenska Skydd, founded in 1995 and based at Solna, replaces and installs fire-classified apartment and stairwell doorsets for property owners and housing associations from twelve regional offices. The doors it fits are manufactured within its own group at Eskilstuna under RISE type approval SC1388-17, classified E 30, EI2 15, EI2 30 and EW 30 to EN 13501-2 with smoke tightness Sa and S200, and it publishes that approval on its own site. Its CE-marking explainer states that exterior doorsets with fire performance have required EN 16034 CE marking since November 2019 and names RISE as the notified body it uses. Its installer competence is a group scheme rather than third-party accreditation, because no Swedish scheme for fire-door installers exists.
