About

Upper Austrian specialist with more than 300 staff at Wolfsegg, producing fire doors and gates for demanding projects across Europe, and part of the Hörmann group — its German parent is listed separately in de/fire-doors.exs. It holds 13 live VKF recognitions spanning Brandschutztüren (4), Brandschutztüren mit Verglasung (4), a Brandschutztor, two VKF-TA closures and two Feuerschutzvorhänge. The fire curtains are the notable part: only seven such approvals exist in the entire Swiss register, and Tortec holds two of them, which puts it among Europe’s small group of certified fire-curtain makers.
