VTI Fire Equipment (Shanghai) (维梯埃消防设备（上海）有限公司) was set up in Shanghai in 2013 as the authorised production and assembly base in China for the UK company VTI. It makes IG-541, high-pressure CO2, HFC-227ea (FM-200) and FK-5-1-12 gas fire extinguishing equipment and fire detection tube suppression units. It also supplies water mist, deck foam and clean-agent portable extinguisher systems. Annual capacity is 10,000 IG-541/HCO2/FM-200 cylinder sets and 5,000 fire detection tube units. Its fire detection tube suppression units hold fire product certifications 5982022ZY100007, 5982022ZY100006 and 5982022ZY100008 from the Tianjin Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management.
