Watania Group is an Alexandria fire protection group that designs, manufactures, supplies and installs both manual and automatic fire protection systems. Its Borg El Arab factory, trading as Watania for Modern Industries, produces fire hose reels, hose racks, fire cabinets and accessories, and it operates what it describes as the first UL-listed FM-200 gas filling and refilling station in Egypt under an OEM appointment from Fike. The group states that its firefighting and fire alarm products are UL Listed, FM Approved and LPCB approved, and its quality system is certified to ISO 9001. Engineering design, estimation and installation are carried out through Watania for Engineering and Contracting.
