Wolman develops and manufactures fire protection chemistry for industrial and professional users at Sinzheim near Baden-Baden, including the Wolmanit Firestop and Antiflamm flame-retardant impregnations for timber, the Interdens and Exterdens intumescent products, the Palusol and Palusol SW intumescent boards used in fire doors and glazing, and the KBS cable firestopping range. Palusol is one of the longest-established DIBt-approved intumescent materials in German construction. The business has been active in fire protection for more than sixty years.
