Zari Consulting Group is a fire protection engineering and building-code consultancy with a dedicated smoke-control practice covering both design and third-party special inspection. Its design service names stair pressurisation, mechanical smoke exhaust, zoned smoke control and smoke containment, worked to NFPA 92 rational analysis and the International Building Code. Its special-inspection service verifies that smoke-control components and performance features are installed and operate in accordance with the approved design and sequence of operations, and is led by licensed and registered fire protection engineers who stamp the resulting reports. The practice runs five US offices from a Petaluma headquarters.
