Emberon is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Software. The following is our privacy notice for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. • What we do not collect. Emberon does not collect the contents of your calculation inputs or outputs, project files, or any client/project data you enter into the Software, except where you voluntarily share them with us (for example, by attaching a file to a support request).
• Sharing. We share personal data only with (a) payment processors, hosting providers, and analytics processors acting under data-processing agreements, and (b) where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
• International transfers. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Retention. Account and billing data is retained for the duration of your Subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal and accounting obligations. Anonymous analytics is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described above.
• Your rights. You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
• Marketing emails. We only send marketing emails if you opt in. Opting in is never a condition of using the Software, and you can withdraw consent at any time in your account settings or by emailing info@emberontech.com.
• Opting out of analytics. You can disable analytics at any time in the Software’s Settings. Opting out does not affect your access to or functionality of the Software.
